About Tropical Iceberg Glass Art

The Multiverse Series, our signature series is one that is important to us. the process in which the work is made is unique and has a deeper meaning which can be interpreted many ways. Much of the colored glass inside the work is actually broken glass from other pieces that didn't make it, both made by us, and other glass artists. 

A vase that once held flowers may end of broken and given new life in our work. 

The work represents our community, and the cooperation we have with people we care about. It expresses a journey, our mission to collect interest glass and give it a second life, a rising phoenix. Some of the inner components are prepared days before, while other glass shards may be up to 10 years old. Glass that other artists may discard end up becoming an interesting point in our work. It fits the cliche, the sum is great than its parts. This work represents a chaotic beauty and truly no two pieces can ever be alike for this reason. These pieces describe relationship, the relationship between us and the material, the people we know, the places we work, the friendships we cultivate.
